Lynn Knapp Blake

Lynn Knapp Blake is from Gloversville, New York .  She attended LeMoyne College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude.  In 1986, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School .

After law school, Ms. Blake moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Lisa A. Richette, Court of Common Pleas.  When the clerkship ended, she worked as an associate for the law firm of Liebert, Short & Hirshland in its Philadelphia office.  She later took a position with Hartford Insurance Company on its house counsel staff.

In 1991, Ms. Blake moved back to New York and joined this law firm in 1993.  She began her career here as a part-time associate and became a partner in 2004.  Ms. Blake assists in trial preparation and handles depositions, motions, and appeals.

Ms. Blake is admitted to practice in New York and Pennsylvania , as well as the United Stated District Court for the Northern District of New York and Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Albany County Bar Association.  Outside of the legal profession, Ms. Blake is a member of the PTA of Albany High School, which is the school attended by her youngest child.  She also volunteers for the Albany High School Theatre Ensemble in its production of the Spring musical
