Erb's Palsy is a medical disorder that is caused by an injury to the brachial plexus nerve bundle that connects the arm with the spinal cord through the shoulder. This injury typically occurs when shoulder dystocia, or when the shoulder becomes blocked against the pubic bone during delivery, is not properly addressed by the delivering doctor.
